Chipotle Mexican Grill in Madison

This Chipotle seemed eerily similar to the last 5 Chipotles I had been in. Upon seeing the familiar menu above the grill confirmed my suspicions. I was definitely in a Chipotle. This Chipotle gets super busy at lunchtime due to the close proximity of about 40 office buildings. It's no place for a quick bite, but if you have the time, the food is great and reasonably priced.

First-rate atmosphere and very affable service. The food was fresh and enchanting. Will definitely recommend this place to friends. Reasonable prices and large meals. Keep it up.

Service has really gone done during this pandemic. Wont be ordering again for a long time if ever.

This location always have issues.The main thing I really have noticed is people coming up to the self of bags, no gloves, touching the bags and/or receipts. There is nothing about wearing a mask/glove in the the restaurant.

Usually this location is awesome but just ordered a steak bowl with pinto and black beans , brown rice and some other stuff and they didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl. First time this has happened.

Ordered at 11 for 11:30 pickup. Waiting there until 11:45 to be told that pick up orders are not being filled. Name was taken for a refund to be issued but not holding my breath

Don’t even bother ordering online. They will make you wait before they actually make your order because they prioritize the people who walk in and order on the spot. Insane. They started making my order after the rush of people left.

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to eat but the last couple times I visited this location have been a nightmare. They’re always out of something, the manager doesn’t seem to really know what he’s doing. Who runs out of steak in a Mexican food location that serves tacos and burritos?? They don’t even have the food preparing when they’re almost out of items. Took 45 minutes to get a bowl and 2 burritos. Ridiculous.

This is obviously one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am profoundly satisfied. They keep their very high standard service and the highest level of dishes they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

First off the order was late by 30 minutes and it was wrong. When I called them to ask them to remake it I was told they don’t have a pencil and paper to write it down. I must just come in. Terrible service and attitude.

I love Chipotle but this location always seems unorganized and unprepared. Every time I go there to get food they're low or out of something. I know they are super busy all the time, but better management and organization would greatly improve the overall experience. The food is still at the high quality Chipotle sets.

Chipotle has the most meat options out of all the burrito restaurants in the area, also the tastiest. They must have fairly high employee turnover, since they are always training new people. This leads to slower service, but not the end of the world. The dining area is always clean and there is a nice outdoor seating area in the warmer months.

Slow, but good service if walk in.

Don’t bother with mobile orders. The staff will not make it if someone is standing in line. After waiting for 30 mins AFTER the designated pickup time, I had to demand they actually make the order. They should not offer mobile orders if they refuse to make it until someone walks in the door and waits for 30 mins or is unable to make their pick up times.

Ordered 45 minutes before my pickup time then waited there on my lunch break for an extra 20 minutes just to walk out. Garbage service...people that don't have a clue...won't be going back.

Best burritos ever. Every time I drive to Madison I always get a burrito here. The workers are so kind and cheerful. Every time I go I feel so welcome!

The employees are always grouchy here. And every time I go there's at least one who has the mask pulled down from his/her nose. Don't even wear one then, it does nothing if you do that. The last time I was in they had the music blaring so loud they couldn't hear me ordering. I'm supposed to shout through my mask now, so someone can get jiggy with it? Please. I get it, nobody wants to be working during this time. But other places are putting on a friendly face, so the reality is that this Chipotle is dropping the ball right now. Management should probably just keep it closed until their employees feel more comfortable and can provide a better experience. The blame should usually fall on management, not the employees. I'd say that's absolutely true here. Know what is going on in your store and fix the problems. Thanks.

Consistently good food and staff. Lines can be long at rush hours, but the extra staff are able to typically able to keep moving the line along as quickly as they can.

The rice in all 5 of our meals was uncooked. We asked for chips, but wanted tortilla not rice chips.

This restaurant is filthy! I have been to a different Chipotle that was great, but not this one. The food was fine, and the customer service was acceptable, but it is so disgusting that I might as well eat inside a garbage truck!

I went to the Sauk Chipotle because for us it has always been the best even though it is out of our way. Tonight I got the worst burrito bowl in all my years of eating at chipotle. The bowl was 1/2 full even though I was suppose to get chicken and sofriatas and paid for extra meat and didn't get any sofriatas. If I ever go there again I will never do online. If I go back it will only be where I can see them make my food. I live 20 miles from there so taking it back was not an option. Husband used the bathroom when he picked up order and it was disgusting. Very very disappointed.

Surely a place worth trying, the food is great and fresh, the costs are affordable and it is regularly clean here. Keep up the good work.

My burrito was not well prepared and my friends quesadilla was not cooked. I think the employee must’ve been new his name was Charlie. He needs severe punishment and possible termination ;)

I went into the store because when I ordered delivery, they forgot my chips and salsa. I called the store and the girl (sounded like she was 15) said that they needed my first and last name, my email address, and my phone number because they were going to put it into the system that I had a credit for salsa and chips. I then go into the store today to get my salsa and chips and the rude man up at the register tells me that there is no way to look me up in the system. So now I’m out money, never got my food, and had terrible customer service. If I were you, I wouldn’t waste my time or money at this place especially when lately all the food I’ve been getting has been cold and there’s always something missing from it

Great tasting food! Great staff, but sometimes their portions are small. Better to order in person than order for delivery - your portions could get “shortened”.

While the place can get busy around noon due to the number of offices nearby, the workers are professional and friendly. As long as you avoid the rush this is a good place to get a quick lunch.

Pickup order didn't have all the ingredients I ordered. Found out at work after picking it up.

Slowest chipotle location I have ever been to. Employees are rude, slow and unhelpful. Every time we go we either wait wayyyyy too long for an order we placed online or when we come in to order, they’re out of rice. Employees did not apologize for the inconvenience and they did not update us for the 15 minutes we waited for them to cook more rice. We ended up leaving.

I love this Chipotle! It's been here for a long time and is one of my favorite locations in Madison. It's always clean and has plenty of space to eat in. There is a huge parking lot out front. And the staff friendly and fast even during rush times. The food has been high quality for a chain restaurant. I always get fair portions for the price I pay. I absolutely love their burritos!

Didn't eat there. Outside dining only. Outdoor temp was in upper 90's. Left soon. Salesperson did run out and ask if there was a problem. We advised about temp.

We love Chipotle! The food was delicious but the server gave extra small portions. My bowl was not even half full. Same for my hubby and his burrito.
